Wow, what an exciting two weeks it's been! Jack had his first dip in the pool, as you can see from the photo. He was not quite sure what to make of the water, but he had fun swimming with his new friend Wyatt!

He's continuing to add more fruits and veggies to his diet. While the looks he gives makes it seem like it tastes worse than death, he readily eats the entire bowl every time.

Jack also took his first vacation into the mountains, going along with Mom and Dad as they celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary in Flagstaff. With all the pine trees and the rain (not to mention the "granola" feel), it made us feel like we were back in Portland. Jack had many adventures, including hiking and enjoying a scenic skyride to 11,500 feet (we won't talk about the way down). He also attracted much attention and many admirers young and old.
Hope all is well with you all! Enjoy the following video below. Here Jack is being introduced to his "sleep-inducing" mobile for the first time (Thanks Nonni!).

I can't believe I'm the first one to comment on the video of your exhuberant boy! Just noticed your site on Rebecca and Ryan's blog.
I'll share this will Ryan's sister, Kelly, and Miss Olivia who will always remember Jess, the lady who befriended her at the wedding.
Your boy is absolutely beautiful. Good grief this generation is talented!
Love, Martha McK
