Aba

Hello out there! What a wonderful last few weeks this has been. Jack is doing great, changing every day and making us laugh and smile with each new step. He has transitioned over to his booster seat with ease (see photo) and enjoys staring across the table at his dad with each bite. He is saying more words (ball, mama, dada, no, more and wa for water) and sounds now, but his favorite new saying is "aba," which is what everything is called sans the 6 words listed above. "Jack what is that?" "Aba." "Jack do you like......?" "Aba." You get the picture. I mean, "aba."

We had a fantastic mother's day. Jack and Scott created fabulous dishes for Debbie and I to eat, and we managed to squeeze in a few pictures between meals (see photo). Memorial Day weekend took us to Flagstaff for fantastic weather, yummy food and outdoor fun. Jack delighted in exploring the trails, neighborhood park, and the tree maze at the Flagstaff Arboretum (see photos). Jack is gearing up for his next trip which will take him to the exotic locales of Portland, OR and Boise, ID. Shortly after that Jack's nonni, great-grandpa and auntie Olivia will be joining him as permanent residents of Fountain Hills, thrilling us all.

The video clip is of Jack getting his first taste of corn still on the cob. Summer fruits and vegetables here we come!
Love,
J, J, & S
