Apples, Cheerios and Good-byes

Hey All! We had a fantastic week here in Arizona. The weather is cooling off to the 80's, allowing for some evening walks and adventures in the park. Prior to this week, Jack had felt it most unpleasant to touch any sort of food with his fingers. This week though we are singing a different tune. We have discovered the joy of nibbling on apples (see photo), grapes and cheerios and boy are we excited now when we see the cheerios box!

In other exciting news, Jack had been "practicing" waving good-bye (meaning Jack stared at mama while she waved) for weeks now. This week though when dada waved good-bye, Jack waved bye-bye- TWICE! It almost made his mama cry. Jack turned 9 months this week and even semi-smiled for the occasion (see photo with mom).
